This activity game is perfect for a fun common/proper noun review. This resource is suitable for centers, small group work, one-on-one tutoring, ESL students, SPED students, advanced 1st graders, and 2nd graders.

Directions: 

1. Print pages 2-7 in color(or 8-13 in black and white), double sided, with a SHORT-EDGE BIND.

2. Laminate for extra durability.

3. Cut out along the lines

4. Place all cards in a 6x4 array, face down on the table.

5. Have students take turns picking two cards at a time for a match. 

6. The students must decide if the two cards are a common + proper noun pair that belongs together. If not, they return the cards to the array. If yes, they keep the pair.

7. The player at the end of the game with the most pairs, wins!
